Species Creation Guide + Template

Species Creation, is simply creating your own species of Fae. Fae of the same species are thought of as being in the same clan. When two players/members belong to the same species, they are expected to know each other as kin unless otherwise stated. When creating your own species, be sure to be creative and have fun! It would be helpful to look at mythology for any ideas for creation, although custom ones are fine as well.


Species: Name of Species, usually taken from mythology.

Features and Appearances: What are any unique physical features that your clan species possess? Keep in mind that Under Fae are currently not permitted, so any special characteristic of your species has to be intentionally activated, such as when feeding or fighting. These can include things like eye color, face changing, claws, etc.

Native Faction: What faction does this clan belong to? Light or Dark. Whatever faction it resides in, is what characters from this clan must side with as well.

Powers and Abilities: What are the powers and abilities of this species. What/how do they feed? How do they kill? What are their weaknesses? What can they do? Be as elaborate as possible. Also, be very weary of god modding this section since it is relatively easy to do. Stay away from powers that allow you to kill multiple people at once or grants you things like invincibility or omnipotence etc. We are Fae, not Gods.

Structure and History: How is this clan structured? Is their a hierarchy of elders? Is it more modern base? How do they raise and train their young? How many members does it have? Where/how did this clan originate? How did it join the dark/light fae? Explain.
